About the event
This event is an opportunity for neighbors who live near Walnut Creek Park in North Austin to get to know one another, build community, and appreciate our shared humanity.
We'll meet near the pavilion at Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park. Look for the badminton net and pinwheels!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Porch Circle (10am-11am) We’ll start with a short silent meditation, then break into smaller groups to answer a few simple questions designed to give us a deeper understanding of one another. Everyone is invited to speak from the heart and listen actively.
Picnic & Park Hang (11am - ??) Bring your own food and blanket for a picnic and free-form park hang! Stay as long as you want. We will have things like frisbee, badminton, and coloring supplies. Bring whatever you'd like to play!
